• Description:

  This Genuine Ford engine oil cooler line fits 18-25 F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel engine. It is installed at the lower outlet position as the main engine cooler feed. The oil cooler line carries pressurized engine oil between the oil filter adapter, the oil cooler, and the engine oil gallery, completing the loop that controls engine oil temperature under heavy load. Routing, end fittings, and bracket geometry are specific to the 6.7L Power Stroke engine bay layout; gas engine variants use different lines that are not interchangeable. A failed or weeping oil cooler line allows engine oil to drip onto the lower front of the engine and chassis crossmembers, can drop onto the exhaust manifold or turbocharger area, and can drain oil level over time. non-OEM lines often miss the correct fitting orientation or barrier liner construction. Replace the O-rings and sealing washers at every connection, torque the line nuts and bolt-on flanges to the published specification, route the line clear of heat sources, and check for leaks at idle and at operating temperature.
