  This genuine Ford OEM expansion valve fits the auxiliary rear air conditioning system on 18-26 Expedition and Lincoln Navigator trucks. The valve meters refrigerant flow into the rear evaporator core and is typically supplied as part of the AC and heater assembly, but is also sold separately for cases where only the valve has failed. Common symptoms of expansion valve failure include reduced cooling at the rear vents, audible refrigerant hiss from the rear HVAC housing, and inconsistent vent temperatures across the cabin even when the front system operates normally.
