  Genuine Ford OEM front bumper impact absorber for the 2019 and 2020 Fusion equipped without the sport appearance package. The absorber sits between the front bumper reinforcement and the front bumper cover and provides the engineered crush volume that protects the radiator support and the cooling stack from low-speed parking impacts. A damaged or missing absorber means low-speed front impacts transmit directly into the radiator support and cause expensive secondary damage from what should be a cosmetic-only event. Sport-package Fusions use a different absorber because the front bumper face contour and the available crush volume differ; installing this standard absorber on a sport bumper leaves gaps that compromise the engineered crush behavior. Confirm sport-package absence before ordering. non-OEM absorbers in this fitment commonly use a denser foam that does not crush at the engineered rate and transmits more force to the radiator support than the OEM piece. The OEM absorber uses Ford's specified foam density for the platform's crash test certification. Sold individually as a complete absorber. Install behind a sound bumper cover; replace the cover at the same service if it shows any cracking from the original impact event.
