• Description:

  This genuine Ford Motorcraft ignition lock cylinder and switch assembly fits 2019 through 2023 Ford Ranger and provides the keyed lock that turns the steering column ignition to accessory, run and start. The cylinder accepts the cut key, releases the steering lock and rotates the electrical ignition switch that powers up the truck systems and cranks the engine. Owners replace this assembly when the key will not turn or turns with difficulty, when it sticks between positions, when the key can be removed while still in the run position, or when the wafer tumblers are worn and the lock feels sloppy. Supplied as the original Ford component, the cylinder matches the Ranger column bore and lock retention exactly and works with the factory anti-theft system.
