  This is the genuine Ford driver-side left-hand outside door belt molding for the 2019-2023 Ford Ranger, cataloged by Ford as the Moulding Door Outside Belt and fitted to crew cab configurations. It mounts along the outer top edge of the door, at the beltline where the window glass emerges, and rides against the outer face of the glass. As the window travels up and down, the molding's lip wipes rain, dust, and grit from the glass and seals the beltline against wind and water. Over time this trim fades, chalks, warps, or its sealing lip hardens and pulls away from the glass, which shows up as wind noise, water finding its way into the door, dirt streaks on the glass, or discolored beltline trim that detracts from the truck's appearance. Installing a fresh molding restores the clean wipe, a weathertight seal, and the factory finish.
