• Description:

  This genuine Ford front engine mount, also cataloged as a side mount and engine front support bracket, secures the powertrain to the body of the 2019 through 2023 Ford Transit Connect with the 2.0L engine. The mount combines a steel bracket with a bonded rubber or hydraulic isolator that carries engine weight, resists torque reaction under acceleration, and absorbs vibration so it is not transmitted into the cabin. When the isolator cracks, separates, or leaks its damping fluid, the driver notices increased engine vibration at idle, a thump or clunk when shifting into gear or during throttle tip-in, harsh shudder under load, and in severe cases visible engine movement. A collapsed mount can also stress the remaining mounts and cause driveline misalignment. Replace the mount by supporting the engine, transferring it to the new bracket, and torquing the fasteners to the Ford-published specification in the correct sequence.
