This is the Genuine Ford valve body for the 8F35 automatic transmission as installed in 19-23 Transit Connect. The assembly includes the separator plate, separator plate gasket, and solenoids as a complete preassembled unit ready to install in the transmission case. The valve body is the hydraulic control assembly that translates TCM commands into precise oil pressure and flow to the clutches, brakes, and torque converter, and is calibrated to the Transit Connect application of the 8F35. A failed valve body shows up as flared or harsh shifts, sticky engagement under load, leak-down between shifts, and stored P-codes in the solenoid or pressure control circuits. Replacement is a major service item that requires draining the trans, dropping the pan, transferring or reusing the required components per the Ford service procedure, and performing the published learn routines after the new body is installed.
