This is the spindle nut retainer (front wheel hub) for 2019 through 2024 Ford Ranger and 2021 through 2024 Ford Bronco trucks. The retainer locks the front spindle nut in position after the hub bearing has been torqued to the factory specification. Use this part as part of a front wheel hub or bearing service when the original retainer has been removed or damaged. This is a one-time-use fastener in most applications; do not reuse the original retainer because the staking, the deformation, and the locking feature are designed to be installed once.
