Genuine Ford OEM cruise control distance sensor bracket for the 2019 through 2024 Edge equipped with the automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise package. The bracket mounts the forward-facing radar sensor at the front of the vehicle and holds the sensor in the calibrated orientation that the system requires for accurate distance and closing-rate measurement. A bent or improperly aligned bracket causes the adaptive cruise to misread following distance and may produce inappropriate brake interventions or false collision warnings. The bracket position is critical and changes the radar aim relative to the road plane. Vehicles built without adaptive cruise do not use this bracket. Confirm option presence by inspecting the dash menu for adaptive cruise before ordering. non-OEM brackets in this fitment commonly use thinner stamping that distorts under road vibration and shifts the sensor aim over time. The OEM piece uses Ford's specified gauge thickness for the radar mounting application. Sold individually. After installation, the radar sensor will require static calibration with a Ford-approved target at a service facility; this is not a key-on relearn.
