  This genuine Ford charge air pipe, cataloged in the Ford air-induction group as Duct/Tube - Air (Intercooler Pipe), carries pressurized, cooled intake air on the boosted 2.0L EcoBoost engine. It routes compressed air between the intercooler and the throttle body and intake so the turbocharger's charge reaches the engine without leaks, holding boost pressure and maintaining the smooth airflow the engine calibration expects. It fits 2019-2024 Ford Edge and Lincoln Nautilus models with the 2.0L EcoBoost engine, mounting in the charge-air path on the intake side of the intercooler. A cracked, split, or loose charge air pipe, or a failed coupling or clamp along it, typically produces a noticeable loss of power and turbo lag, a hissing or whooshing under boost, reduced acceleration, and often a boost-pressure or lean-condition trouble code as unmetered or under-boosted air reaches the cylinders. A light oil film inside the pipe is common with EcoBoost crankcase ventilation and is not by itself a fault.
