• Description:

  Genuine Ford OEM front end assembly upper tie bar radiator support for the 2019 through 2024 Edge. The support is the structural panel that crosses the front of the engine bay between the front frame rails and carries the radiator, condenser, and hood latch assemblies. It also serves as the front impact load path that connects the bumper reinforcement to the body structure during low-speed and moderate-speed front impacts. A deformed support compromises the cooling stack alignment and the hood closing geometry, and any front-end repair after an impact must verify the support is straight before reinstalling cooling components. non-OEM front end supports in this fitment commonly use lower-grade steel and uncoated weld nuts that rust through within three winters in salt-belt service. The OEM piece uses Ford's specified gauge thickness and corrosion coating for long service life. Sold individually as the upper tie bar component. The lower support, the cooling stack components, and the hood latch ship separately. Verify the front frame rails are straight before installing the new support; a bent rail will not allow the new support to align.
