  Genuine Ford OEM rear bumper impact absorber for the 2019 through 2024 Edge across SE, SEL, ST, ST-Line, and Titanium trims. The absorber sits between the rear bumper reinforcement and the rear bumper cover and provides the engineered crush volume that protects the rear floor and the spare tire well from low-speed rear impacts. A damaged or missing absorber means low-speed rear impacts transmit directly into the rear floor structure and cause expensive secondary damage from what should be a cosmetic-only event. The non-trim-specific fitment across the listed Edge configurations reflects shared rear bumper architecture across these trim levels. As a factory piece the foam density and the dimensional profile match the bumper cover's available volume without interference. non-OEM absorbers in this fitment commonly use denser foam that does not crush at the engineered rate and transmits more force to the body structure than the OEM piece. The OEM absorber uses Ford's specified foam density for the platform's crash test certification. Sold individually.
