This is the Genuine Ford B clutch friction disc for the 8F35 automatic transmission family used across 19-25 Bronco Sport, Corsair, Edge, Escape, Maverick, Nautilus, and Transit Connect applications. The B clutch is the 4-6-R clutch pack on this transmission and uses a 36-tooth friction disc with a calibrated friction-paper bonded to a steel core. The 8F35 shares friction architecture with the GM 9T50, 9T60, and 9T65 family on the same platform. This is the precision OEM service replacement supplied by Ford for rebuild work on the 8F35, sized to the engineered thickness and inner diameter so that the rebuilt B clutch pack stack height matches the published spec. Install in clean ATF after the friction disc has been pre-soaked in fresh fluid for the recommended dwell, follow the Ford published assembly procedure and stack height check, and complete the post-rebuild adaptive learn after the trans is back in the vehicle so the controller maps the 4-6 shifts and reverse engagement against the freshly assembled clutch pack.
