  This genuine Ford manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor, cataloged as Sensor - MAP, measures pressure in the intake tract so the engine control module can calculate air density, boost, and the correct fuel and spark for the operating condition. On turbocharged EcoBoost engines the MAP and boost signal is central to fueling accuracy and boost control, making this a key input for smooth power delivery and emissions compliance.
