• Description:

  Genuine Ford OEM rear door bumper bushing housing cover for 2019 through 2025 Transit-150, Transit-250, Transit-350, and Transit-350 HD models. The cover installs over the rear door bumper bushing and serves as the finish trim cap that conceals the rubber bumper mechanism while keeping debris out of the bushing pocket. This suffix supersedes prior CB and CA revisions and reflects updated retention geometry that holds more securely against the door frame than the original release. The cover is configurable for either left-hand or right-hand installation as a single non-handed part. Damaged or missing covers allow road grit and salt to pack into the bushing, accelerating wear and causing the rear door to seat improperly at the latch. Replacement of the cover alone, without addressing a worn underlying bumper bushing, will not resolve a door that bounces or rattles on rough roads. non-OEM plastic covers in this fitment commonly use a softer polymer that brittles after one winter and cracks at the clip locations. The OEM piece uses Ford's standard cold-impact-rated resin that holds up through full thermal cycling. Sold individually.
