Authentic Ford Motor Company replacement center air inlet duct for the 20-22 Ford Escape. This duct channels intake cooling air from the front grille opening to the cooling stack (radiator and condenser) and is the current Ford service level part. The duct is shaped to seal against the grille opening at the front and the radiator stack at the rear, ensuring all incoming air is forced through the cooling stack rather than around it. Each piece is sold individually. The duct mounts to the upper radiator support and the front of the radiator using the original Ford clip and tab pattern; no external fasteners are required for the standard installation. Replacing a cracked, broken, or collision-damaged air inlet duct restores the original airflow management through the cooling stack, which is essential for proper engine and air conditioning condenser cooling under high ambient or sustained-load conditions. A damaged or missing duct allows incoming air to bypass the cooling stack and can result in elevated coolant temperatures and reduced A/C performance.
