• Description:

  This is a brand new genuine Ford OEM water pump gasket carrying part number LC3Z-8507-A, fitting 20-22 F-250 through F-550 Super Duty trucks and 21-22 E-350 and E-450 Super Duty cutaways equipped with the 7.3L Godzilla gas V8. The gasket seals the water pump body to the engine front cover and is a one-time-use service item that should always be replaced any time the water pump is unbolted. The factory specification calls for a clean, dry sealing surface with no residual silicone or coolant film; reusing the original gasket or attempting to seal the joint with RTV alone commonly produces a coolant weep within a few weeks. The gasket is engineered to the proper crush profile and incorporates carrier and seal-bead geometry matched to the Godzilla front cover boss. Always replace as part of any water pump service, thermostat housing service that breaks the pump bolt circle, or any coolant flush that requires pump removal. Sold individually; the pump body itself, pulley, and any related bolts are separate part numbers. Tighten bolts in the factory star pattern to specification.
