This is a brand new genuine Ford OEM accessory belt idler pulley carrying part number LC3Z-8678-E, fitting 20-22 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks equipped with the 6.2L gas V8 engine. The pulley provides a tracking surface for the serpentine belt in the 6.2L accessory drive layout. The 6.2L gas V8 was the entry-level gas option in early third-generation 17-22 Super Duty before the 7.3L Godzilla took over for the late portion of the run, so this idler applies only to the 20-22 6.2L production window and only to trucks ordered with the 6.2L. Bearing failure typically presents as audible growl or chirp at idle, visible bearing seal failure, or pulley wobble.
