This is a brand new genuine Ford OEM pressure sensor carrying part number LC3Z-9J460-A, fitting 20-22 F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks equipped with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel, and 20-22 F-150 trucks equipped with the 3.0L Power Stroke diesel, in the EGR valve and cooler pressure measurement position. Dealer catalog notes indicate this sensor is included with the air tube and the water inlet on some applications. The sensor monitors differential pressure across the EGR system and feeds the EGR mass flow strategy in the powertrain control module. Accurate EGR pressure measurement is critical for both emissions compliance and engine longevity, since incorrect EGR mass flow leads to either excessive NOx emissions or carbon buildup from too much recirculation. Common failure modes include sensor drift from soot or moisture contamination on the diaphragm, connector pin corrosion, and intermittent faults.
