This is a brand new genuine Ford OEM fuel system replacement kit carrying part number LC3Z-9B246-B, fitting 20-22 F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks equipped with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel. This kit supersedes the earlier LC3Z-9B246-A. The kit is the complete repair solution for CP4 high-pressure fuel pump failure or DEF contamination of the fuel system on the 6.7L PSD. Simply flushing the fuel system after a CP4 failure is inadequate because metal debris from the failed pump migrates throughout the rails, lines, and injectors and continues to contaminate replacement components; complete replacement of all fuel system components downstream of the pump is the only reliable repair strategy. The kit ships with the CP4 injection pump, complete injector set covering all eight cylinders, high-pressure injector lines for both cylinder banks, fuel rail supply and return components, and the required fuel filter elements. Diagnose CP4 failure by inspecting the fuel filters for metallic debris before committing to the full kit; partial failures may permit a pump-only repair, but full failures require the kit.
