  This is a brand new genuine Ford OEM lower intake manifold carrying part number LC3Z-9424-C, fitting 20-22 F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks equipped with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel. The lower intake manifold sits on top of the cylinder head bridge and distributes charge air from the intercooler outlet to the eight cylinder intake ports. The 6.7L PSD lower intake is a high-pressure component because charge air enters at boost pressures well above atmospheric; gasket integrity and clamp band torque are critical. Common failure modes include cracking at stress concentrations from years of thermal cycling and high-load boost, EGR-related soot buildup that restricts flow at the EGR cooler entry, and gasket interface seepage. Replacement requires removing the upper intake structure, EGR plumbing, and turbocharger plumbing routing through the lower manifold area. Always inspect the gasket sealing surface for warpage with a precision straightedge before installing.
