  This is a brand new genuine Ford OEM viscous fan clutch carrying part number LC3Z-8A616-D, fitting 20-22 F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks equipped with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel in the single rear wheel chassis configuration. The fan clutch couples the engine-driven cooling fan to the water pump shaft using an internal silicone viscous fluid that engages and disengages based on coil temperature and powertrain control module commands. Fan clutch failure typically presents as overheating under load or while towing, fan that fails to engage at idle in hot weather, fan that stays engaged at highway speeds wasting fuel, or audible fan roar that does not modulate with temperature. The SRW variant differs from the DRW variant LC3Z-8A616-E in clutch sizing and torque capacity, matched to the chassis-specific cooling load. Verify single rear wheel configuration by VIN before ordering; installing the wrong variant will produce incorrect cooling response on heavy-load applications.
