The handle is the central tailgate operating lever that releases the tailgate latches and provides the visible exterior pull point. The black finish is the base trim non-painted variant; trucks with chrome or color-keyed handles carry different part numbers. The non-remote, non-camera variant is mechanically simpler because it does not incorporate the keyless entry switch wiring or the integrated camera lens housing that the higher trim variants require.
