This Genuine Ford Horn fits 20-22 Ford F-250 SD, F-350 SD, F-450 SD, and F-550 SD trucks built from 11/04/19 forward. The horn mounts to the front of the vehicle behind the grille and produces the audible warning signal that the steering wheel switch triggers, with the tone and duration calibrated to Ford's audible-warning specification for the Super Duty platform. Replacement is common when the horn no longer sounds when the steering wheel switch is pressed, when corrosion has invaded the horn housing and degraded the diaphragm, or when the mounting bracket has cracked and the horn rattles at low speed. The horn is supplied as a single unit; some configurations use a paired high-tone and low-tone horn, in which case both units would carry their own service numbers.
