This Genuine Ford LED Composite Headlamp fits the driver side of 20-22 Ford F-250 SD, F-350 SD, F-450 SD, and F-550 SD trucks built without black trim and from 06/18/2018 forward. Supersedes -F. The lamp uses an LED low-beam and high-beam optical pack with an integrated driver electronics module, and the housing is keyed for the LED-package wiring harness rather than the halogen harness. Replacement is common after collision repair, after lens or seal failure has admitted moisture into the lamp, or when one of the LED segments has failed and the lamp shows a dark band in the projected beam. The LED variant is not interchangeable with the halogen lamp; the connector keying and the mounting datum lock the LED lamp into the LED-equipped vehicle harness. After install, verify aim with the Ford procedure, check that the high-beam shutter activates correctly, and confirm there are no stored DTCs against the LED driver module before returning the vehicle to service.
