• Description:

  This Genuine Ford air conditioning suction hose fits 20-22 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks built from 11/04/19 with the 6.2L gas V8 paired to the 6R100 TorqShift transmission. It crosses to YF-38282. The suction hose returns low-pressure refrigerant vapor from the evaporator outlet to the compressor inlet, completing the closed loop of the climate control system. Routing, end fittings, and the integrated service port are specific to the 6.2L engine bay layout and the 6R100 transmission tunnel; the 6.7L and 7.3L variants are physically different and do not interchange. non-OEM hoses often miss the correct port placement, barrier liner construction, or end-fitting orientation, leading to slow leaks, weak cooling, and repeat repairs. This OEM hose is preformed to the factory routing and uses captive O-rings sized for the specific connection. Recover refrigerant before disconnecting, replace the O-rings at every connection, torque the line nuts and bolt-on flanges to the published specification, then evacuate to deep vacuum and recharge with the specified refrigerant weight and PAG oil. The receiver drier or accumulator and the orifice tube should be replaced whenever the system has been open.
