• Description:

  This Genuine Ford intercooler outlet pipe or outlet duct fits 20-22 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel engine. The intercooler outlet pipe carries cooled and pressurized charge air from the intercooler outlet to the intake throttle body, completing the cold side of the turbocharged induction system. The duct includes the integrated boost pressure and intake air temperature sensor port and is sized to maintain pressure recovery while keeping pressure loss to a minimum. A failed duct, whether through cracking at the rubber boot ends, hose clamp slippage, or end fitting fatigue, causes a boost leak with reduced power, hesitation under load, and check engine codes referencing the manifold absolute pressure or boost pressure circuit. non-OEM ducts commonly miss the correct fit at the boot ends or routing geometry, leading to repeat boost leak failures. Inspect the boots, clamps, and sensor port O-ring during the install, torque the hose clamps to the published specification, and verify that the duct is clear of accessory drive components and exhaust heat sources after assembly.
