  This is the genuine Motorcraft automatic transmission filter kit for the 10R80 ten-speed transmission as fitted to the full-size Transit van with the 3.5L V6. The filter screens the fluid drawn into the front pump and feeds clean fluid to the valve body, solenoids, and clutch packs, keeping debris and clutch material out of the hydraulic circuits that control shift timing and line pressure. It fits 2020 through 2022 Ford Transit-150, Transit-250, Transit-350, and Transit-350 HD models equipped with the 3.5L V6 and the 10R80 automatic. A restricted or contaminated filter typically produces delayed engagement, harsh or erratic shifts, slipping under load, shudder, elevated transmission temperature, and dark or burnt-smelling fluid.
