This is a brand new genuine Ford OEM Motorcraft PW-634 water pump assembly carrying part number LC3Z-8501-B, fitting 20-23 F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks equipped with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel. The pump is the main primary water pump driven from the engine accessory belt and circulates engine coolant through the block, heads, and external cooling loops. The assembly ships complete with the pump body, integrated impeller, mounting gasket, and pulley pressed onto the hub, making this a true drop-in service replacement that does not require pulley swap. The 6.7L Power Stroke uses an unusually robust water pump because the cooling system feeds both the main engine block and the EGR cooler, charge air cooler, and high-pressure fuel pump cooling circuit. Water pump failure is typically detected by coolant weeping from the weep hole, bearing growl, or excessive front-end thrash. Replacement requires draining the cooling system, removing the AC compressor and accessory belt, and unbolting the pump from the front cover; refer to Ford workshop manual for torque sequence. After installation, refill with Motorcraft gold-spec coolant and follow the factory cooling system bleed procedure. Sold complete; coolant and any one-time-use fasteners are billed separately.
