  This is a genuine Ford engine valve cover gasket for the right inner rear position on 20-24 Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, and Police Interceptor Utility models built to 5/13/2024 with the 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Ford catalogs this as a Required component that is included with the valve cover assembly but available separately for owners replacing the gasket only. The valve cover gasket seals the aluminum valve cover to the cylinder head and prevents engine oil from migrating out of the top of the engine, contaminating the spark plug wells, or reaching the surrounding hot exhaust components.
