This is a brand new genuine Ford OEM accessory belt idler pulley carrying part number LC3Z-8678-D, fitting 20-24 F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks equipped with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel, in the left hand idler position with smooth pulley face. The pulley provides a smooth tracking surface for the back side of the serpentine belt in the main 6.7L PSD accessory drive layout. The smooth face must run against the smooth back of the belt; substituting a grooved pulley here will destroy the belt. Bearing failure on 6.7L PSD idlers commonly presents as a growl that varies with engine RPM, visible bearing seal leak, or pulley wobble under load. The 6.7L PSD accessory drive carries heavy parasitic loading from the dual alternators, large AC compressor, water pump, and high-pressure fuel pump cooling circuit, so idler bearings are stressed harder than on lighter applications and benefit from preventive replacement at any sign of degradation. Sold individually with the pulley pre-assembled to bearing and mounting flange. Verify left hand position on the diagram before ordering. Backed by Ford's OEM parts limited warranty.
