• Description:

  This Genuine Ford crankshaft pulley bolt fits 20-24 E-350 Super Duty and F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks with the 7.3L Godzilla gas V8. The crankshaft pulley bolt clamps the harmonic balancer or vibration damper onto the crankshaft snout against the crankshaft gear and any spacer or shim used at that joint, and is the single fastener that transmits the entire accessory drive belt torque path into the engine. The bolt is a torque-to-yield single-use fastener; once it has been tightened through its angle stages it cannot be reused, and any subsequent service that requires the harmonic balancer to be removed requires a new bolt before reassembly. non-OEM bolts often lack the correct material grade or angle response, leading to clamp load loss and harmonic balancer wobble that destroys the front crankshaft seal and can damage the keyway. Use the OEM bolt every time the balancer is removed for timing chain service, front crankshaft seal replacement, or oil pump service, then torque to the published specification in the correct angle stages while preventing crankshaft rotation.
