Genuine Ford Engine Air Intake Hose LX6Z-9C623-G is the latest OEM service revision of the air cleaner outlet hose connecting the air cleaner box to the turbocharger compressor inlet on 20-22 Ford Escape vehicles equipped with the 1.5L EcoBoost three-cylinder turbocharged engine. This hose supersedes the prior -A and -F service numbers with revised reinforcement, updated clamp specifications, and improved sealing geometry at both ends to address customer concerns with cracking and air leaks observed on earlier service inventory. The hose is constructed from heat-resistant elastomer with internal fabric reinforcement to withstand the pulsating intake flow, vacuum at idle, and modest boost reversion under tip-out. Symptoms calling for replacement include audible boost leak, lean-condition fuel trim codes such as P0171 and P0299, cracking near the wire clamps, oily soft swelling near the PCV port, and brittleness from underhood heat. Installation requires loosening the clamps and gently rotating the hose off both fittings to avoid damaging the plastic flanges. This is a Genuine Ford service part with full factory warranty.
