This is a sibling part to the -A variant with different thickness or spline detail for a specific clutch pack location. Common reasons for replacement include transmission rebuild service, friction degradation from extended overheating or neglected fluid service, and warpage caused by burned clutch material. Symptoms include slipping under load in a specific gear, shudder during light throttle acceleration, delayed engagement, harsh shifts, and clutch slip diagnostic trouble codes.
