  This is the genuine Ford engine air filter element, the pleated panel filter that traps dust, dirt, pollen, and abrasive debris before intake air reaches the mass air flow sensor, throttle body, and combustion chambers. Cataloged by Ford as the Element Assembly - Air Cleaner and cross-referenced to Motorcraft FA-1939, it fits 2020-2025 Escape and Bronco Sport models with the 1.5L and 2.0L EcoBoost engines, seating inside the factory air cleaner housing. A clogged or collapsed air filter restricts airflow and can cause reduced acceleration, lower fuel economy, rough idle, a rich running condition, and in severe cases an illuminated check-engine light.
