  Authentic Ford Motor Company replacement hood support rod stay clip for the 20-25 Ford Escape and Bronco Sport. This is the molded plastic retention clip that secures the hood prop rod to the engine compartment when the hood is closed. The clip mounts to the radiator support and engages the curved tip of the prop rod to keep it firmly in place during driving, preventing the rod from rattling against the underside of the hood or against painted surfaces. Each piece is sold individually so installations that have lost both the storage clip and any backup clips should order an appropriate amount. The clip pushes into a pre-formed hole in the radiator support and does not require any tools to install. Replacing a missing, cracked, or weakened clip restores secure storage of the hood prop rod, eliminates engine-bay rattles caused by a loose rod, and prevents the rod from contacting and chipping painted body surfaces.
