  Authentic Ford Motor Company replacement left-hand front door weatherstrip for the 20-25 Ford Escape. This is the rubber seal that mounts on the perimeter of the driver-side front door body itself (door-mounted seal, not the body opening seal). The weatherstrip is the OEM service level part. Each piece is sold individually and the left- and right-hand front door weatherstrips are not interchangeable; the rear door weatherstrips also use different part numbers and are not interchangeable. The weatherstrip seats into the original Ford retention channel around the door perimeter and presses into place using the factory clip pattern. Replacing a torn, hardened, cracked, or compressed weatherstrip restores the original sealing between the driver door and the body opening, restores quiet cabin operation at highway speed by eliminating wind noise, and prevents water from leaking into the door interior or onto the cabin floor. Best installation practice removes any original adhesive residue from the door perimeter and properly seats the seal at all corners before final installation of the door trim panel.
