Authentic Ford Motor Company replacement lower front air deflector for the 20-25 Ford Escape. The deflector mounts to the underside of the front of the vehicle and channels airflow under the front bumper and around the cooling stack and engine bay to manage aerodynamic flow and aid cooling. Each piece is sold individually. The deflector bolts to the front lower body using the original Ford fastener pattern. Replacing a cracked, broken, missing, or collision-damaged air deflector restores the original factory aerodynamic flow under the front of the vehicle, restores proper cooling airflow management, restores the EPA-tested fuel economy characteristics of the vehicle, and prevents continued road debris damage to underbody components that the deflector was designed to shield. A missing or damaged deflector can also cause elevated wind noise from the front of the vehicle at highway speed. After installation, the deflector alignment should be checked along the full length of the front of the vehicle to ensure even spacing to the bumper cover and ground clearance.
