Authentic Ford Motor Company SecuriCode illuminated keyless entry keypad accessory for the 20-25 Ford Escape. This driver B-pillar mounted keypad allows the operator to lock, unlock, and operate the door system using a five-button code, providing a backup entry method when the key fob is unavailable. The illuminated keypad surface activates when the user approaches the vehicle in low light and provides clear visibility of the touch zones at night. The keypad ships as the keypad module only and includes the factory wiring tail; the connection to the vehicle requires the SecuriCode harness which must be ordered separately if the original vehicle was not factory equipped with the keypad option. Installation requires removal of the driver door applique panel for harness routing through the B-pillar and pairing of the keypad to the body control module per the Ford service procedure. Once installed, the keypad operates independently of the key fob battery and provides reliable secondary entry for the life of the vehicle. Backed by the Ford & Motorcraft Parts Limited Warranty when sold and used in the United States.
