This is a genuine Ford OEM cowl top grille for the 20-25 Ford Explorer. The grille is the front windshield cowl panel that sits between the rear edge of the hood and the base of the windshield, providing the ventilation inlet for the cabin fresh air intake and the trim cover for the wiper park area. As an OEM Ford panel the surface texture, mounting clip pattern, and ventilation slot geometry are matched to the Explorer body structure, the wiper park position, and the cabin air intake duct that feeds the HVAC blower. non-OEM cowl panels frequently mis-match the surface finish, leave gaps to the hood trailing edge, or partially obstruct the cabin air intake leading to reduced HVAC airflow. Install with the wiper arms removed, locate the panel against the windshield base, seat all retention clips by hand pressure, then reinstall the wiper arms in their indexed park position. Verify wiper sweep and HVAC blower function after installation.
