  This is a genuine Ford OEM door outside lower moulding for the 20-25 Ford Explorer. The moulding installs along the lower outer surface of the door, providing the trim transition between the painted door skin and the lower rocker area and helping to deflect road debris from the lower body paint. As an OEM Ford moulding the length, profile cross-section, and clip retention pattern are matched to the Explorer door geometry, seating flush against the door skin without gap and without interfering with the door operation or the door-to-rocker shut line. non-OEM lower door mouldings in this position frequently mis-match the factory profile or detach over time as the OEM clip pockets are not matched. Replace whenever the moulding has been damaged by parking impact or has separated.
