This is a genuine Ford OEM driver side windshield molding bracket for the 20-25 Ford Explorer, mounting at the A-pillar front body location. The bracket is the windshield molding retaining strip that runs along the outer edge of the windshield on the driver A-pillar, holding the outer windshield molding against the body structure. As an OEM Ford part the bracket material, length, and clip pattern are matched to the Explorer body structure and the windshield molding geometry. The part is often replaced when the windshield is removed for replacement service or when the outer molding has separated and needs to be reseated against the A-pillar. Pair with LB5Z-7802500-AB for the passenger side mating bracket when both sides have aged.
