  This is a genuine Ford OEM passenger side front bumper tow eye access cap for the 20-25 Ford Explorer and Police Interceptor Utility, for configurations without the Timberline or ST trim and including Interceptor configurations. The cap snaps into the front bumper cover and covers the tow eye threaded receptacle behind it, providing a finished bumper appearance when the tow eye is not in use. As an OEM Ford cap the surface texture, color treatment, and clip retention match the surrounding bumper cover precisely so the cap is essentially invisible when in place. non-OEM caps in this position commonly mis-match the bumper texture or fall out at highway speeds. Confirm trim level before ordering as Timberline, ST, and ST-Line Explorers use different lower fascia treatments with their own tow eye access provisions. Remove the cap with a plastic pry tool to access the threaded receptacle, install the tow eye for towing or recovery, and snap the cap back into place when finished.
