  This is a genuine Ford OEM passenger side rear door applique for the 20-25 Ford Explorer, mounting in the upper rear door area. The applique is the decorative panel that covers the upper outer rear door corner, providing the finished trim transition between the rear door glass channel and the body sheet metal at the upper-rear area of the door. As an OEM Ford part the surface finish, clip pattern, and panel cutout are matched to the Explorer rear door geometry, seating flush against the door skin without lift at the edges. The -A passenger side is the counterpart to the driver side -78255A35-A. non-OEM appliques in this position frequently mis-match the factory finish gloss or detach at the corners as the OEM clip pockets are not matched. Replace whenever the original applique has been damaged or has separated. Install with the door surface clean and dry, position the applique to the factory locating marks, and seat all retention clips with even hand pressure.
