• Description:

  This is a genuine Ford OEM front lower bumper mounting bracket for the 20-25 Ford Explorer with the Timberline trim, and for 25 Explorer with the Interceptor configuration. The bracket supports the lower outboard corner of the front bumper cover, providing the rigid anchor point that maintains bumper cover position relative to the fender and the lower air dam structure. As an OEM Ford bracket the steel gauge, mounting hole locations, and standoff depth are matched to the Timberline and 25 Interceptor lower fascia geometry, which differs from standard Explorer trims by way of additional clearance and the more aggressive lower air dam profile. Confirm trim configuration before ordering. Pair with LB5Z-17C947-B for the opposite-side mating bracket. Install with the bumper cover loosened, position the bracket against the body structure, install the fasteners hand-tight, then seat the bumper cover and final-torque the bracket fasteners. Inspect bumper cover gap to the fender after installation.
