  This is a genuine Ford rear park and turn signal bulb for the 20-25 F-150 and F-150 Lightning equipped with halogen rear lighting without the blind spot package. The bulb installs into the tail light socket using a keyed bayonet base and provides the rear turn signal function and, where the dual-filament design is used, the park lamp function as well. The genuine bulb is calibrated to the truck's specified wattage and color temperature, which matters because incorrect wattage triggers fast-flash bulb-out warnings on combined brake-turn applications and can stress the socket contacts beyond their thermal rating. Halogen bulbs are wear items that fail through filament fatigue, envelope cracking from thermal shock, or socket corrosion that produces flickering output. Replacement is straightforward: pull the socket from the tail light housing with the appropriate rotation, remove the old bulb, install the new bulb without touching the glass envelope with bare fingers, and return the socket to the housing.
