• Description:

  This genuine Ford indicator assembly mounts in the engine air cleaner system of 2020 through 2025 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks and fits the 6.2L and 6.8L gas, 7.3L gas V8, and 6.7L Power Stroke diesel engines. Located within the air intake as Reference 14 of the air cleaner assembly, it monitors intake restriction and gives the operator a clear visual signal of how much air filter life remains, so the element is changed on condition rather than by guesswork. As the filter loads up with dust and debris, vacuum on the clean-air side rises and the indicator advances toward its service mark; a reading in the service zone points to a restricted or saturated filter and often accompanies complaints of reduced power, poorer fuel economy, or hesitation under load. Replacing a cracked, fogged, or stuck indicator restores an accurate service readout and helps prevent both premature filter changes and running the engine on a plugged element. This is the correct OEM component for the factory air box, installs in the original location, and requires no modification. Observe or reset the indicator after fitting a fresh air filter element so the readout reflects a clean filter.
