• Description:

  This is the genuine Ford engine air cleaner element for 2020 through 2025 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks, fitting the 6.2L and 6.8L gas, 7.3L Godzilla gas V8, and 6.7L Power Stroke diesel engines. The panel filter media traps airborne dust, dirt, and debris before intake air reaches the throttle body and combustion chambers, protecting the cylinders, rings, and mass air flow sensor from abrasive contamination while maintaining unrestricted airflow for proper power and fuel economy. A clogged or saturated element restricts airflow and is a common cause of sluggish acceleration, reduced towing power, black smoke on diesels, and a dropping fuel economy trend; the air restriction indicator will move into the service range when replacement is due. This element carries Ford's OEM fit and filtration rating and is the Motorcraft FA-2031 service filter, superseding the earlier FA-1951 and FA-2030 elements as well as the prior LC3Z-9601-D and LC3Z-9601-B part numbers. It seats directly in the factory air box with no modification. Replace on the recommended service interval, or more often in dusty, off-road, or heavy-duty fleet operation, to keep the induction system sealed and the engine breathing clean air.
