  This is a brand new genuine Ford OEM exhaust manifold gasket carrying part number LC3Z-9448-B, fitting 20-25 F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks equipped with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel, applicable to both left and right hand manifolds. This part supersedes the earlier LC3Z-9448-A. The gasket seals the cast iron exhaust manifold to the cylinder head exhaust port and is a one-time-use service item that should always be replaced any time a manifold bolt is loosened or the manifold is removed for any reason. The gasket is engineered to withstand sustained exhaust gas temperatures well above 1200 degrees Fahrenheit and incorporates the multi-layer steel construction with internal sealing beads that compress to seal against the head boss. Reusing the original gasket produces immediate exhaust leakage at the manifold-to-head interface, recognizable by ticking on cold start that improves as the manifold expands. Always replace the manifold-to-head bolts as well if they show stretch or heat damage; the manifold studs and nuts are one-time-use on many applications.
