• Description:

  This is a brand new genuine Ford OEM intake manifold gasket number 1 carrying part number LC3Z-9E936-A, fitting 20-25 F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks equipped with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel. The gasket seals the upper intake manifold to the lower intake structure and is included with the upper intake manifold service assembly but is also sold individually for service work. The gasket is a one-time-use item that should always be replaced any time the upper intake is loosened or removed. Reusing the original gasket commonly produces a boost air leak that is recognizable by reduced throttle response, lower than expected boost pressure under load, and potential turbocharger overspeed events from the unaccounted-for displaced air mass. The seal-bead profile and carrier geometry are matched to the lower manifold pocket and must not be substituted with generic gaskets. Always inspect both sealing surfaces for warpage and cleanliness before installing the new gasket.
